After finishing the book, I tried to count the number of kisses that really mattered in my life, and then I realized that I should be kissing the people I love more.
It’s the story of Molly and Ryan Cooper who grew up together in the little town of Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. They have been in love with each other for the longest time, and belonged only with each other, and it took some embarrassing, painful experiences and years away from each other to make them realize this.
Molly recounts the highs and the lows of their relationship that spans decades; from when they were kids, from when they were in university, from when they bumped into each other one summer in Ibiza, from when they first made the decision to move in together and get married, from when they found out that time is running out for the both of them.
This book is a sobfest. You should probably read this alone somewhere no one can see you ugly-crying in front of the book. It’s a heart-breaking, emotional, romantic and sad read.
